Question: The reefmaster mini, Does anyone like it? When you take a picture does it take the picture right after the you?

push the shutter button? Does it take a while till it is able to take another pic?

Answer: It's an amphib. It's meant to try to accommodate above and below in an "ok" fashion. Almost all amphibs are fixed focus. That means there's no range finding half press of the shutter. Take the pic and as soon as the camera has finished processing the image and the flash has recharged, it's ready to go again.
If you're that worried about it's performance, you ought to be looking for a decent camera that you can get an underwater housing for, such as those made by Ike Lite. You'll get a better camera that does macros likely and a housing that's rated deeper than 130 feet. Just because it says 130 doesn't mean you take it to 130. If it's rated to 200, then sure. You'll get superior images below and above water. You also will have a smaller package on land to deal with.
What you may want to do is this:
1/ Hit the Ike Lite housing site .http://www.ikelite.com/
2/ See what cameras they are currently supporting. Those cameras will be what a majority of divers that want quality images or video are currently using.
3/ Choose your camera out of the list they support, buy it from whomever you choose and get the housing for it.
4/ It's expensive but if you want a good image expect to pay for that image. Gotta pay to play. My housing cost nearly twice the cost of the camera but I also got a decent camera. Had my fill of amphibs.

Ok, just had a look at the specs on the mini. If your batteries are good you'll get a 3 second delay between shots depending on the flash setting. Typical.
