Question: Is the oil spew in the gulf of Mexico evidence that the man can not impact the planet people were wrong?
Oh a billion cars --- a few viruses on/in the body -- the sum of the parts has nothing to do with the definition of the whole
You can cut down all the trees you can burn a billion tons of coal every year and none of it individually or collectively could impact the planet
Man drilled a hole into the ocean --- man impacted HOW MUCH of the planet in this display of how wrong headed thinking could be shown to you in ONE big display
Is this oil spill evidence of just how wrong the man can't impact the planet he lives on is ?
Is this oil spill a little lesson from the gods or nature -- or irony itself -- that yes -- a virus can impact an entire elephant and yes the sum of the parts do define the whole
As the oil washed up --- is it a demonstration --- Man is a part of the whole and as such his actions must impact the whole because that is common physics?
Answer: Yes. It is one of many pieces of evidence out there. Our out of control killer bees killing off the honeybee population is another.
